QUESTIONS ABOUT ORDERING AND SECURITY
Do I have to purchase your products online?
No, if you prefer you can order by fax, telephone or by mailing an order
to us. Ordering options, forms and contact numbers and address are available
on the "Order" page. Click the "Buy" button and follow the onscreen
instructions to go to the "Order" page

What are my payment options?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover for online,
telephone and fax purchases and the above cards plus checks and money
orders for postal orders.

What is your return policy?
Since we offer fully functional trial versions of our software that can
be tested, usually for 30 days, before purchasing a license we experience
very low returns. However, if you have purchased a license and find that
the product is not appropriate for your tasks you have 30 days from the
date of purchase to request a refund.
Send an e-mail to return@databaseapps.com. Be sure to include the name
and e-mail address of the person who originally purchased the software
and the license number. While optional we also would appreciate it if
you could provide a reason why you want to return the software. A credit
will be issued against the charge card that was used for the original
purchase.

How many licenses do I need
to purchase?
You need one license for each desktop on which the program is installed.
If you have multiple users and operate in a networked environment please
e-mail us at sales@databaseapps.com for information on purchasing a site
license and pricing.

If I order on-line is my credit
card and other information secure?
Security is very important to us. All online sales transactions are encrypted
using Secure Socket Layers (SSL). It was designed to provide government
level security for your credit card transactions. Use it with confidence.
Your transmissions while processing online sales transactions with DatabaseApps
are absolutely secure and private. Our secure web pages are being hosted
by RegSoft who uses a Thawte SSL certificate to ensure secure transmission
of your information.
Our order form is also Netscape Blue Key & MSIE Lock compatible. This
means that any information provided is protected from tampering when a
customer is located in a purchasing page where a lock symbol is displayed
in the status bar of their web browser. If a screen is secure, the lock
or key at the bottom of the browser page changes color or is clasped together;
however, this may vary according to which browser is being used.
You can also examine the authentication certificate issued to RegSoft
by Thawte. If you are using Netscape with frames right-click within the
transaction window, choose "View Frame Info" and read the "Security" description.
If you are using Internet Explorer with frames right-click within the
transaction window, choose "Properties" and click the "Certificate" button.

DOWNLOAD AND INSTALLATION QUESTIONS
Do I need special skills to download and install software?
Downloading software is simple, fast and safe. You will be guided with
easy to follow instructions during each step of the process. To download
follow these simple instructions.
Click on the "Download" button on the Products
page.
Enter your name and e-mail address·
Note your version of Microsoft Access - 97 or 2000 and click "Continue".
On following page click the "Download"
button corresponding to the appropriate version of Microsoft Access.
Select "Save this program to disk" on the "File
Download" window. Click "OK"
Select a location on your hard drive where you would like to save
the download file. You do this by double-clicking a folder in the
"Save As" window. The download file will be saved in the folder highlighted
in the "Save in:" field. Click "Save".
Important - Do not modify the file name.
The "Download Window" will appear identifying the file being downloaded,
the "downloaded to" location and an estimate of the download time. After
a successful download you can either open the file from the "Download
Window" and install the program immediately or close the Download Window
and perform the installation at a later time. To install the downloaded
program double-click on the file that has been downloaded and follow the
on-screen instructions.

What if the download does
not work?
If the download doesn't work try downloading it again. If you get a "Replace
existing file" message click "OK". If the problem persists e-mail support@databaseapps.com.
You always have the opportunity to download fully functional versions
of our software and try them before you purchase a license. If for some
reason you have purchased a license before having an opportunity to test
the software simply e-mail support@databaseapps.com and we will be happy
to assist you.

QUESTIONS ABOUT SPACE PILOT
How does Space Pilot differ from other facility management
(FM) software?
Space Pilot is designed for one specific task, determining space and occupancy
needs for commercial offices. It does not compete with full featured CAFM
products. As a result it is very easy to use and inexpensive.

Do you have a demo of Space
Pilot?
No, we don't have a demo. We have something much better, a fully functional
trial version that you can download for free and try on a real project.
If you like the software, and we are sure that you will, simply return
to www.databaseapps.com and download a software license which, when inserted
into the trial version you downloaded, converts it to a fully functional
licensed version. Any data that you input during the trial period is safe
and sound and ready for easy access.

Can I send reports via e-mail?
Microsoft Access based reports can be transmitted as attachments to e-mail
messages when saved as .snp (Microsoft Snapshot)
or .rtf (Rich Text) files. In the case of Snapshot the recipient can read
the files using stand-alone viewer software that is available free of
charge from Microsoft. RTF files can be read with any text editor such
as Microsoft Word.

What type of support do
you provide?
We are confident that Space Pilot is so easy to use you will rarely have
to call us with any questions. But if, at any time, you have a question
simply e-mail, fax or call us and we will be happy to address your issues.
We have also included extensive HELP documentation with each copy of Space
Pilot as well as sample projects that you can take a look at to get ideas
on how to set up projects, input data and what the reports look like.
